Connecting the hot- and cold-water supplies to a washer isn’t difficult. But you do need to decide which kind of hose to purchase—braided stainless steel or EPDM synthetic rubber hoses. If pinching or rubbing is a concern, pick braided stainless steel. If you want color coding or a greater burst rating, choose EPDM.
